New Clients

Not sure where to start?
That's the right place to begin.

You don't need a diagnosis, a clear explanation, or a specific goal before reaching out. Most people who reach out are still figuring out what kind of support they need — and that's exactly what the first conversation is for.

Getting Started

Three steps from first question to first appointment

01

Reach out for a brief consultation

Call or email to share a short, general overview of what brings you in. Keep it high-level — sensitive clinical details are handled later in a secure setting.

  • No account or portal required
  • Two to three sentences is plenty
  • You choose how you prefer to be contacted
02

Receive a personal response

After reviewing your request, you will hear back from me about whether I am a good fit for what you are looking for, along with current availability and what comes next.

  • Honest assessment of fit
  • No pressure to commit after responding
  • Telehealth available across Washington State
03

Begin with a clear plan

Once fit is confirmed, intake paperwork is completed securely before your first appointment. The first session is a structured conversation — designed to understand your goals, history, and what success looks like for you.

  • Password-protected intake forms to complete beforehand
  • First session usually within one to two weeks
  • Clear direction and treatment plan from the start

Common Questions

What people ask before reaching out

What should I say when I reach out?

A brief, general description of what you are dealing with and how you would like to be contacted. You do not need to share a diagnosis, detailed history, or anything sensitive over email or phone.

How quickly will I hear back?

Most requests receive a response within one to two business days. If your need is urgent, please call or text directly.

Are sessions available in person?

All sessions are conducted via telehealth, which means you can access care from anywhere in Washington State — without a commute.

What if I have never been to therapy before?

Many clients come in without any prior therapy experience. The first session is designed to feel like a conversation, not a clinical evaluation. There is nothing you need to prepare beforehand.

What if I tried therapy before and it did not help?

That is a common experience and worth discussing. A first session is a good opportunity to talk about what worked, what did not, and what a different approach might look like.

If you are in crisis or feel unsafe, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. The phone and email listed here are not monitored for urgent needs.
